You've probably heard and have had this delicious sandwich, but not the way most people make it. The go-to snack for me is a peanut butter and grape jelly sandwich with slice up bananas inside. Yes this simple but the taste is incredible. Unfortunately most great tasting foods are usually unhealthy for you in a number of ways. This sandwich though is actually the complete opposite. That's why it has been a valuable little quick recipe for me all these years. The bread is a solid amount of carbs to fuel you up for anything. The peanut butter provides an excellent source of healthy fats. The jelly's sweetness gives you a little energy boost. Last but not least, the banana contains an exceptional amount of potassium as well as good carbs. Reap the health benefits as well as treating yourself with a tasteful treat; go take advantage of something that's affordable, easy to make, and surprisingly delicious.
